parsercpp
parsercpp is a from-scratch lexer and parser written in C++ without leaning on a parser-generator like Bison or ANTLR. The goal was purely to understand the mechanics — tokenizing, building a grammar, and walking the resulting tree — rather than to produce something meant for production use.
Writing it by hand instead of generating it made the trade-offs in grammar design a lot more concrete than reading about them ever did.
